Royal Nairobi Golf Club is a premier private members Club that provides world class sporting and
recreational facilities that are second to none in our region. RNGC is located in very close proximity to
vibrant Nairobi city along Muchai drive off Ngong Road. RNGC has excellent career opportunities for

The Club is in the process of recruiting a Waiters & Waitress. The ideal candidate should be a team player
with the ability to effectively provide excellent service in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and
comfortable experience during their visits to the club.

1) Waiter & Waitress Position (5)

Reporting to: Service Supervisor. The suitable candidate will be responsible for contributing to the overall
guests’ satisfaction by ensuring that all the Food and Beverages ordered by Members/guests are served
correctly as per the laid down standard Operating procedures (SOP’s). She/he will also be charged with
ensuring that the Club house area and other outlets are clean, tidy and set up.
Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Promptly welcome and receive guests
b) Ensure guests are escorted to their tables and issued with a menu
c) Ensure efficient turn – around of orders
d) Ensure all customers are catered for equally
e) Ensure all users are billed according to their orders
f) Frequently move all used utensils from the tables and service areas
g) Prepare and dress tables as per the required club standards
h) Ensure that utensils placed on tables are clean and in good condition
i) Assist in setting up of the buffet table
j) Report any breakages of equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications:

a) Certificate in Food and Beverage
b) Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a waitress in the hospitality industry.
c) MUST be able to communicate well in English and Kiswahili
d) Flexible to work in shifts
e) Well groomed
f) MUST be a person of integrity
